Welcome Greetings
Locals wearing traditional Kaga Yuzen Kimono greet cruise ships at the pier.

A signboard with the name of the cruise ship is displayed.

Welcome Ceremony
Ceremonies are held for a ship's first call of the year, and in the case of a ship's maiden call, a commemorative plaque is presented to the ship.

Send-off Events
Various performances including Japanese taiko drums, jazz, and yosakoi dance are showcased at the time of a ship's departure.
Known as the “Kanazawa Port Cruise Welcome Club”, this supporters' club consisting mainly of local residents was established to welcome cruise ships. There are now more than 7,000 members, many of whom have been voluntarily showing up for welcome and send-off events.
